(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) - A recent criminal investigation conducted by Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) uniform members and Crime Unit has resulted in sexual assault and another sex-related offence being laid against a Wellington North Township resident.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred in July, 2020 involving a teen-aged victim.
Wellington County OPP has charged David RATCLIFFE, 59-years-old of Wellington North Township with Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16 Years of Age and Sexual Interference contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph at a future date to answer to the charges.
