(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) On October 9, 2024, at 5:55 p.m., the Grey Bruce OPP received a traffic complaint of an impaired driver on Highway 6 near Limberlost Road in South Bruce Peninsula.
The police located the vehicle and observed it travelling over the posted 80km/hr speed limit. As a result of the investigation Rahul Dhamankar, 39-year-old of Mississauga was charged with the following:
· Drive Motor Vehicle Perform Stunt Excessive Speed
· Speeding 130km/h in posted 80km/h zone
· Operation while Impaired alcohol and drugs
· Operation while Impaired BAC 80 plus
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on October 24, 2024.
