19 Year Old Repeat Offender Arrested Near Chepstow

(SOUTH BRUCE, ON) South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), West Region OPP K-9, and OPP Aviation Unit responded to a weapons incident in the Municipality of Brockton in Greenock Township just after 2:00 p.m. on January 11th, 2025.
One individual was located in an isolated area along Schmidt Lake Road and taken into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, Logan VIENNEAU, 19-years-old of Arran-Elderslie has been charged with:
· Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, CC 91(1)
· Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a prohibited or restricted weapon, CC 94
· Failure to comply with release order, CC 145(5)(a) three counts
· Fail to comply with probation order, CC 733.1(1)
· Possession of a schedule I substance, CDSA 4(1)
The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.
